Associate Research Scientist
Ryota Katsumi received his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Tokyo in 2021. He is currently an Associate Professor at Toyohashi University of Technology and a research scientist at Columbia University. His research focuses on integrated and quantum photonics, with particular emphasis on nanofabrication, hybrid integration, and quantum light–matter interactions.
He also serves as the Group Leader for Optica’s Quantum Optical Science and Technology Technical Group, is a member of the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports, and is the Principal Investigator of a JST PRESTO project in Japan.
